The Nepal Earthquake, Cremation and the Philadelphia Church of God

On April 25, 2015, an earth shaking event happened in the Himalayas which devastated thousands of people from the country where the birthplace of the Lord Buddha of the Buddhist religion can be found, i.e., NEPAL. Let us consider the real spiritual reason why a very powerful 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit this predominantly Hindu nation.

Shaken: Why the Nepal Earthquake Happened

BY PHILIP NICE

The world began shaking. The furniture, the lights, the plates on the table, the glasses on the shelf—the whole room, the whole building, the whole city. Windows shattered, foundations crumbled, buildings disintegrated. For those who were in Nepal on April 25, the Earth itself might as well have shaken off its axis.Nepal earthquake April 2015

For thousands of Nepalese, April 25, 11:56 a.m., was the end. The last sight of home, the last breath of air, the last heartbeat. By the time the last grim worker trudges through the debris at the last house in the last village and digs out the last corpse, the mountain of recorded fatalities may exceed 15,000 lives. About 14,000 more have been injured, lacerated by flying glass, struck by plummeting concrete, half-crushed by collapsing walls.

All because there are two tectonic plates 9 miles down and about 50 miles northwest of Kathmandu—and on April 25, they shifted a bit…

Why did this happen?

Why are so many suffering? Why are husbands without wives, mothers without daughters, grandfathers without grandsons? Why did they die?

Because a piece of Earth clicked? Is that it?…

No. This earthquake meant something. These people died for a reason. That cost is too high for us to shrug this off. We need to face this thing….

God punishes. We can see that in the Bible, and we can see that in the news. Why? Because we sin. We sin so much that if God doesn’t intervene, we will drown in it. We are on our way to violently deleting ourselves from this planet, no environmental disasters needed.

So God uses something no human being can control to communicate with us: our environment. We just need to get the message: If your entire world is shaking, something is wrong.

When earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, mudslides, tornados and fires strike, does that mean God is lashing out at us in retaliation? No. It is God’s loving correction for those who will recognize it. Does it mean that the people who die as buildings collapse on them are extra-sinful people? Jesus Christ Himself answered this exact question. He said that those who die in such disasters are a warning to the rest of us that unless we repent, we will likewise perish.

Do we really know the real reason why the Nepal earthquake happened? Have we really got the message God is conveying in that Nepal earthquake disaster? Have we really deciphered as to whom the message has been addressed to? Was this disaster aimed at warning the world? Or is it being conveyed to a specific group of religious people? I believe there’s more to this than meets the eye – the message is actually directed to the Philadelphia Church of God more than anyone else in the world! It was precisely timed when the message about the direction of the new phase of work in Edstone was given by Mr. Gerald Flurry. The 25 leading ministers of the PCG have so far been successful in esteeming God as a potter’s clay in their hands.

THE NEPAL EARTHQUAKE AND CREMATION

Before we prove God’s real intention behind the cataclysmic event that killed several thousands of people, let us first consider what this Nepalese nation did to their loved ones after the catastrophic earthquake struck:

Kathmandu brings out their dead: Nepal holds mass cremations with funeral pyres along riverbanks as earthquake death toll reaches 4,000

  • Mass cremations have been taking place next to the Bagmati river, the waterway which divides the Nepalese capital
  • Plumes of white, acrid smoke were seen floating across Kathmandu as hundreds of bodies were burned in pyres
  • City’s sacred temple overwhelmed with number of bodies while wood needed to make pyres is starting to run out
  • Almost every space along the river’s banks is being used for rites, despite hundreds more bodies still being found

As efforts continue to rescue survivors from beneath the mounds of rubble across Kathmandu, the grieving Nepalese nation has begun the grim and daunting task of cremating the thousands of victims who were killed during Saturday’s devastating earthquake.

With the death toll now standing at more than 4,000, mass cremations have been taking place next to the Bagmati river, the waterway which divides the Nepalese capital, as mourning families attempt to give their loved one the honourable send-off so revered in Hindu tradition.

Today, plumes of white, acrid smoke could be seen floating across Kathmandu, as hundreds of bodies were burned in the ghats beside the river.

Around these ceremonies, families gathered, wailing in grief for their loved ones. Scores of dead children were wrapped in orange and gold cloth on the ground, as their relatives prayed for their souls in heartbreaking desperation.

Mass cremation after Nepal earthquake April 2015

Barely two weeks after this very traumatic event in Nepal, the Philadelphia Church of God raised funds during the celebration of Mother’s Day on May 10, 2015 by selling flowers. They even pride themselves with a flower sale profit of $40,000 while totally ignoring the PLAIN TRUTH that Mother’s Day originated from the pagan worship of Astarte, and the same is true with the pagan practice of CREMATION which the Nepalese did to their dead families  – it can be proven that it also came from a pagan custom derived from an ancient pagan religious system. Let us read from the Book of Remembrance:

CREMATION

Here is another belief which can be considered as one of the “images of Astarte” – cremation. Let’s review some history surrounding this tradition and where it all began.

How came it that the “Heart” became the recognized symbol of the Child of the great Mother? “The Heart” in Chaldee is “BEL” …Now, the worship of the “Sacred Heart” was just, under a symbol, the worship of the “Sacred Bel,” that mighty one of Babylon, who had died a martyr for idolatry; for Harpocrates, or Horus, the infant god, was regarded as Bel, born again. …the new birth or new incarnation of Nimrod or Bel. When Bel, however was born again as a child, he was, as we have seen, represented as an incarnation of the sun. Therefore, to indicate his connection with the fiery and burning sun, the “sacred heart” was frequently represented as a “heart of flame.” …Of what use, then, is it to say that the “Sacred Heart” which Rome worships is called by the name of “Jesus,” …are not the attributes of the living and loving Saviour, but the genuine attributes of the ancient Moloch or Bel? (The Two Babylons, Alexander Hislop, p. 129)

“Bel” is also known as “Bal” or “Baal” in the scriptures. This same “Bel” is in the image of his great Mother, “Beltis” – the queen of heaven. Notice that Nimrod’s names are interchangeable, yet his association with “fire and the burning sun” is undoubtedly “the genuine attributes of the ancient Moloch or Bel.

(W)e have customs still lingering at this day among us, which prove how exactly the worship of Bel or Moloch (for both titles belonged to the same god). (p. 73, ibid.)

Remember that Nimrod himself was in the image of his mother Semiramis who herself is known by many names like Astarte, Beltis, Cybele, Rhea, etc. And so was Nimrod, who is also known by different names:

Tammuz was Nimrod, the examination of the meaning of the name confirms the connection of Nimrod with the first fire-worship.Nimrod …bore the title of Moloch, or king, so it was in honour of him that the “children were made to pass through the fire to Moloch. But the intention of that passing through the fire was undoubtedly to purify. …As both the passing through the fire, and the burning in the fire, were essential rites in the worship of Moloch or Nimrod, this is an argument that Nimrod was Tammuz. As the priest and representative of the perfecting or purifying fire, it was he that carried on the work of perfecting or purifying by fire, and so he was called by its name. (p.159, ibid.)

Nimrod as high priest

First let us further consider this cremation which is an ancient custom of destroying a dead body by fire in other religions:

Religions such as Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and Buddhism, mandate cremation. In these religions, the body is seen as an instrument to carry the soul. Many examples are in the Bhagavad Gita.

According to Hindu traditions, the reasons for preferring to destroy the corpse by fire, over burying it into ground, is to induce a feeling of detachment into the freshly disembodied spirit, which will be helpful to encourage it into passing to its next destination, lest it remain near its former body. Hindus have 16 rites of passage (Saṃskāra); …Cremation is referred to as antim-sanskara, literally meaning “the last rites.” At the time of the cremation or “last rites,” a “Puja” (ritual worship) is performed. The holy text of Rigveda, one of the oldest Hindu scriptures, has many Ruchas (also written and pronounced as Richas) (small poems) related to cremation, which state that Lord Agni (God of Fire) will purify the dead body, also known as the Parthiv one of the 5 types of fire.

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cremation#Bali

Now consider what was written in The Two Babylons by Alexander Hislop regarding this “GOD OF FIRE” and where it originated:

The name Tammuz, as applied to Nimrod or Osiris, was equivalent to Alorus or the “god of fire,” and seems to have been given to him as the great purifier by fire. Tammuz is derived from tam, “to make perfect,” and muz, “fire,” and signifies “Fire the perfecter,” or “the perfecting fire.” To this meaning of the name, as well as to the character of Nimrod as the Father of the gods, the Zoroastrian verse alludes when it says: “All things are the progeny of ONE FIRE. The Father perfected all things, and delivered them to the second mind, whom all nations of men call the first.” (CORY’S Fragments) Here Fire is declared to be the Father of all; for all things are said to be its progeny, and it is also called the “perfecter of all things.” The second mind is evidently the child who displaced Nimrod’s image as an object of worship; but yet the agency of Nimrod, as the first of the gods, and the fire-god, was held indispensable for “perfecting” men. And hence, too, no doubt, the necessity of the fire of Purgatory to “perfect” men’s souls at last, and to purge away all the sins that they have carried with them into the unseen world. (op. cit., p. 166)

There have been several debates on cremation over the past century.  And there is one book available that could shed light to the history of cremation in America. Here is the book’s brief description.

Just one hundred years ago, Americans almost universally condemned cremation. Today, nearly one-quarter of Americans choose to be cremated. The practice has gained wide acceptance as a funeral rite, in both our private and public lives, as the cremations of icons such as John Lennon and John F. Kennedy Jr. show. Purified by Fire tells the fascinating story of cremation’s rise from notoriety to legitimacy and takes a provocative new look at important transformations in the American cultural landscape over the last 150 years.

Stephen Prothero synthesizes a wide array of previously untapped source material, including newspapers, consumer guides, mortician trade journals, and popular magazines such as Reader’s Digest to provide this first historical study of cremation in the United States. He vividly describes many noteworthy events—from the much-criticized first American cremation in 1876 to the death and cremation of Jerry Garcia in the late twentieth century. From the Gilded Age to the Progressive Era to the baby boomers of today, this book takes us on a tour through American culture and traces our changing attitudes toward death, religion, public health, the body, and the environment. Dead body being cremated

The Cremation of Care

Cremation pyre in Nepal

Cremation definitely takes the resemblance of the heathen practice of burning dead bodies. Cremation can therefore be easily considered as one of the “images of Astarte” having a resemblance with “passing through the fire of Molech.” And once again, the word “resemblance” means:

the quality of similarity in nature, form, etc.; relative identity.

Again, the word “image” from the dictionary means:

A natural resemblance; also that which resembles something; counterpart. A representation in the mind of something not perceived at the moment through the senses;.. A symbol of anything; embodiment; type.

Cremation may or may not have directly originated from the heathen tradition of observing the “fire of Molech” yet, just like Mother’s Day, it is in the very image or resemblance of that custom started by Nimrod himself. It can easily be considered as one of the images of Astarte.

In Leviticus 18:21 it is written: “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.” (See also Lev. 20:2-5). Let us read what Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong wrote about this verse:

Notice the THIRD commandment in Leviticus 18:3, 21, 27. “After the doings of the land of Egypt wherein you dwelt SHALL YOU NOT DO.” Here’s the instruction of God to the Israelites in the time of Moses…

“And after the doings of the land of Canaan whither I bring you SHALL YOU NOT DO, NEITHER shall you walk in their ordinances . . . And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire of Molech, NEITHER SHALT THOU PROFANE THE NAME OF THY GOD, I am the Eternal” (Plain Truth, December 1979, p. 22: “Were the TEN COMMANDMENTS in force before Moses?”)

God equated passing through the fire of Molech with His third commandment – of profaning God’s name (“Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain” – Exo. 20:7.” Read also Lev. 20:3).

As far as God is concerned, we are actually profaning His name should there be found in us any association with passing through the fire of Molech.  (pp. 209-218, The Last End – A Book of Remembrance)

Cremation is a pagan practice that originated with Nimrod and his “mother and wife,” Semiramis or Astarte, and Nimrod himself has first claimed the title of “Moloch” (or “Molech”). Nimrod’s worshippers made their children to “pass through the fire to Moloch” (Jeremiah 32:35). God has condemned this pagan practice, calling it an “ABOMINATION.” For emphasis, as the end-time Elijah,  Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong wrote that God equated passing through the fire of Molech with His third commandment – of profaning His name. (Read what Mr. Armstrong has to say about this subject: Is the practice of cremation wrong?)

CREMATION AND THE PHILADELPHIA CHURCH OF GOD

God through the prophet Jeremiah gave a very strong warning for a group of people who is called by His name in this last end. This warning message is being accomplished by God through a very STRANGE WORK.

“For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the Lord: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.”  (Jeremiah 7:30)

Who is Judah being mentioned here in this prophecy? Who is the “house which is called by (God’s) name” in this last end who “have set their abominations” to pollute it? It’s NONE OTHER THAN the Philadelphia Church of God – THE HOUSE OF SPIRITUAL JEWS WHO IS CALLED BY GOD’S NAME!

Isaiah 22:20-25 contain an end-time prophecy that God has revealed a great deal about to us – about Eliakim. Verse 21 says the man who fulfills this role “shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.” There is a spiritual and physical application to these scriptures, but we look mainly at the spiritual today.

The “house of Judah” here is the faithful Church of God. You could say it is “the house of the Jews.”WE ARE JEWS – SPIRITUAL JEWS! And this man is a father to Judah.” (July-August 2012 issue, p.6)

They even associate themselves with ROBBER’S CAVE as prophesied in verse 11:

“Is this house, which is called by my name, become a (CAVE) OF ROBBERS in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord.”

These SPIRITUAL JEWS also observe Mother’s Day as indicated in verse 18, while their children loves to “burn incense unto Baal” through the Irish dance (v. 9)

Now continuing in verse 31, we can find how THE HOUSE OF SPIRITUAL JEWS WHO IS CALLED BY GOD’S NAME has POLLUTED God’s Church – they did it by allowing the practice of CREMATION to prosper in the midst of the PCG membership around the world!

And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.”

Who is Tophet in this prophecy? The prophet Jeremiah gives us his true identity – it’s actually BAAL!

“But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it. And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.” (Jeremiah 32:34-35)

Those in the PCG may blind themselves and blurt out, “That’s completely insane! The Philadelphia Church of God committing an abomination before God? It’s totally ridiculous!” They may try to refute it if they can, but that will not change the PLAIN TRUTH! Not even their ministers will dare try to challenge or deny the proof presented herein. For emphasis, GOD DOES NOT COMMAND CREMATION, NEITHER DOES IT COME INTO HIS MIND! Let us continue reading from  the Book of Remembrance for an irrefutable proof of PCG’s agreement with CREMATION:

But what is this “passing throughfire of Molech” got to do with God’s Church in this last end? Well, let us consider the article below for the answer:

PREPAID FUNERAL

By Mark Nash

Royal Vision, May / June 2004

By prearranging our own burial and funeral service, we can demonstrate a tremendous love and concern for our family and friends. As a secondary advantage, it usually saves money as well. …The simplest of cremations will be the least expensive service. From there you can move up the scale in costs to the most elaborate funeral and burial available…

Based upon all biblical examples, it is our recommendation that a person opt to simply be buried. However, we should remember that it is not as important what happens to our bodies after death as it is how we live our lives. The Church does not condemn those who, for financial reasons, select cremation.

The Philadelphia Church of God condones cremation. But does God command cremation in the first place? Is it really acceptable unto Him? Let’s look at a prophecy specifically aimed at Judah.

“And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.” (Jer. 32:35)

Could this Judah really be referring to the Philadelphia Church of God in this last end? Well, we can actually know to whom this prophecy is really addressed – read it with your eyes in verse 34: “But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.”

Who in this last end is the spiritual Judah which is called by God’s name? Are we going to point our fingers again to the Laodiceans in the outer court? This prophecy is clearly for the PCG! (pp. 218, ibid.)

“The Church does not condemn those who, for financial reasons, select cremation.” – What has happened to the Philadelphia Church of God? How did they come to descend into the same level with that of a pagan nation like Nepal? It’s because the same Simon Magus group has successfully infiltrated God’s own Church! Just look at the photograph below of demoted PCG Associate Pastor John Macdonald how he loved bonfires – a picture indeed paints a thousand words! One good example was when a daughter of a PCG member named, Liza Fe Columna died of drowning during a singles activity due to his gross negligence, he even instructed the group during that evening to set up a bonfire to comfort themselves.

John W Macdonald

Another undeniable proof was when a young PCG member named Ma. Elise Samantha Ramos of the Quezon City congregation died on April 18, 2015. John Macdonald purported that Samantha herself requested to be cremated. Oh how good it was to hear such a request if that may be true – it must be music to his ears! Why not? He has another sacrifice to his god Molech for his credit when he conducted the funeral service on April 19. He must have been so ecstatic seeing with his own eyes the CREMATION of the poor young Samantha. Her parents did not have any knowledge or hint that their child has been sacrificed to Molech. God’s name has indeed been profaned with such a detestable act by His own people inside His own Church.

Whether the PCG would like to accept it or not, cremation is a practice of ancient pagan origin. It has been proven that it is one of the ceremonies involved in the ancient fire worship. Here is what’s written in Encyclopedia Americana:

“In primitive cultures [that] have survived into modern times cremation is widely practiced. Burning is not only supposed to destroy the dead body most effectively and thus prevent the possible return of the ghost, but since fire serves also as a purifying [agent], it is often considered a good means of warding off evil spirits…Besides discouraging the ghost from haunting the corpse and its former abode, and serving as a means of purification from evil spirits and the contamination associated with the dead body, cremation has also, in some instances…been associated with a belief in a heavenly abode for the spirit of the deceased. The flames of the funeral pyre, leaping upward, are thought to facilitate the ascent of the soul.”

Just look at how the Philadelphia Church of God ministers and members have gone into – they fell way down into the ways of this world, i.e., into the ways of the pagans!  Now consider this carefully: There had been several reports that revealed a very ugly truth about cremations. There are scandals that would shake up and unnerve most people who have had their loved ones cremated when they died.

According to one report, many crematoriums have been guilty of dealing fast and recklessly with the ashes of cremated individuals.  They have tossed them into a common trash container, and whenever anyone came to get the remains of their beloved, the attendants would simply scoop a cupful of ashes from the garbage can, and bring them out to the relatives in a little urn with a full belief it was their beloved’s remains.

One shocking report showed that many crematoriums also cremate several bodies at a time since it is cheaper to do many bodies at once rather than one at a time, while the same amount of fuel is needed during such cremations.  However, if you will notice that a serious problem arises when the ashes of those different bodies become mingled together! And with all the problems involved in cremation, the supposed remains of a dead dear loved one might not be his or her ashes at all, but those of several strangers intermingled! How horrific could that be! Here is one example of another case of scandal in crematoriums:

A Lake Elsinore, Calif., crematorium owner was accused of selling body parts for medical research — including heads and torsos — of the bodies he was paid to cremate. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in 2003. Despite the headlines, the donated body parts market for research and education is still largely unregulated.

More recently, in Mississippi, crematory operator Mark Seepe had his license pulled after accusations and evidence of mixing human remains, giving the wrong ashes to the wrong families, and even dumping remains into trash bins.

Do you want to know how a typical CREMATION is being performed? Watch it here and see it with your owns eyes if cremation is a God inspired custom or another pagan inspired tradition.

CREMATION – THE PUNISHMENT FOR THE WICKED!

There are several biblical examples which show that simple burial was the Hebrew custom during that time (Genesis 25:9; 35:20). One of the examples was the patriarch Jacob – he was buried (Genesis 50:5, 26). Jesus Christ was also buried, NOT cremated. Encyclopedia Biblica even stated:

“Burning was looked upon as abominable, as injury to the dead (Joshua 7:25; II Kings 23:20; Amos 2:1)…Not to be buried was a terrible disgrace which one could hardly wish even to one’s greatest enemy.”

The burning of a body with fire, according to the Word of God, is not a holy, purifying experience at all — but rather a terrible divine PUNISHMENT! According to the Law of God, we are told,

“And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be BURNT WITH FIRE, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you” (Leviticus 20:14).

Having sexual relations with a woman and her mother was considered a heinous crime by God, and not merely punishable by death, but also by burning with fire! Notice also Leviticus 21:9.  God says plainly,

“And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.”

Death by burning with fire, and cremation, therefore, is considered by God a horrible punishment – not at all something to be desired or sought after! How completely the great red dragon of Revelation 12 has twisted, perverted, warped God’s purpose!

“In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” (Genesis 3:19)

God says “for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return“; He does NOT say “for ASHES thou art, and unto ASHES shalt thou return.” Dust and ashes are two different thing. Oh how masterfully Satan has altered the whole purpose and design of God!  That which God has called a horrible punishment, Satan calls it a blessed sacrament!  That which God has said is severe judgment, Satan the devil calls it a holy purifying act!  We must remember how powerful Satan the devil is – he has deceived the whole world, and now, even God’s own Church! Furthermore, let’s look at how God has dealt with the wickedness in Sodom and Gomorrah:

“Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.” (Genesis 19:24-25)

God sent  FIRE FROM HEAVEN as a punishment to the wicked populace of Sodom and Gomorrah! Notice also an account of the events that occurred during the times of the kings of Israel and Judah.  Josiah, a righteous king of Judah, sought to purge the land from paganism, heathen influence and idolatry.  He made a covenant with God to walk in all His ways:

“And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book.  And all the people stood to the covenant. And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baaland for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel. And he put down the idolatrous priests . . . And he brought out the grove from the house of the Lord, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.” (2 Kings 23:3-6)

Let’s continue in verses 15 to 16:

“Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.  And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the Lord which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words”

Here again, the bones of wicked, pagan idolaters were taken and BURNED by a righteous king of God — they were CREMATEDor burned to ashes!  What does this signify? Notice what God says about the fate of wicked, evil men. The prophet Malachi was even more explicit in his writings:

“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall BURN AS AN OVEN: and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall BURN THEM UP, saith the Lord of hosts, that is shall leave them neither root nor branch… And ye shall TREAD DOWN THE WICKED; for THEY SHALL BE ASHES under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts” (Malachi 4:1, 3).

The prophet Malachi has prophesied about the final fate of the incorrigible wicked — the lake of fire and brimstone, or the Gehenna fire, spoken of by Jesus Christ! The apostle Peter describes the great fire of Gehenna that will consume the bodies of all the unrepentant wicked:

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”  (2 Peter 3:10)

Cremation is a completely pagan practice whether you in the Philadelphia Church of God admit it or not, the truth of God will not change.  Just look at what Nepal did to their families who died in the devastating April 25 earthquake – they conducted a mass cremation. And God admonishes us through the prophet Jeremiah:

“Learn NOT the way of the heathen” (Jeremiah10:2).

Should God’s people follow the customs of the pagans and their practices just like what we have been seeing in Nepal?  Here is what God says:

“Take heed to thyself that thou be not SNARED by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to theLord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:30-32)

Will the 25 men from the house of spiritual Judah ever listen?

“Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers. Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth. Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the Lord hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.” (Jeremiah 7:26-29)

God shall take up a lamentation on a high place in Jerusalem as a symbol that “the Lord has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath” – which will lead directly to the DAY OF THE LORD! There will be a work in the area where the valley of Hinnom is located and it has long been prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah to serve as a judgment to those wicked kings, princes and priests of Judah who committed an abomination against God – then and NOW! Notice that there should be no chapter break between chapters 7 and 8 of the book of Jeremiah:

“At that time, saith the Lord, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.” (Jeremiah 8:1-2)

Again Jeremiah said, “AT THAT TIME,” what time? When the “children of Judah,” THE HOUSE OF SPIRITUAL JEWS WHO IS CALLED BY GOD’S NAME, polluted His Church with traces of Baal, Astarte and Molech worship through Irish danceMother’s Day, and cremation, that’s the precise time God will fulfill this specific prophecy of Jeremiah.

The BONES of the kings of Judah were once thought to belong to the righteous ones, yet as the Bible commentaries also noted it actually belong to the wicked ones. We were so wrong in that previous assumption. The bones shall be found and displayed for the whole world to see. But will God’s people ever listen to Him about this prophecy? Will they return to God and His work in Jerusalem?

“And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, saith the Lord of hosts. Moreover thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.” (Jeremiah 8:3-5)

Instead of repenting toward God, the last end Joshua (Stephen Flurry) and his fellows held fast to the deceit of the Edstone work, now, they have even sent an ENVOY among the Gentiles whom God is using to deliver the Book of Remembrance –  their ambassador is Alex Harrison, a PCG Evangelist who has been tasked to make WAR against this insignificant group of people for a period of one year. He has no knowledge whatsoever that he is already fulfilling a specific prophecy in Obadiah:

“The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.” (Obadiah 1:1-2)

Is this STRANGE WORK in any way a work of a MAN or is it really a WORK OF GOD? Here is what Mr. Gerald Flurry wrote on how to know which is which.

In Acts 5, Gamaliel had an important message for those in power when they persecuted Peter and the other apostles: “And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought: But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God” (Acts 5:38-39). If the (LAST END) Work today is a human effort, it will come to nothing. But if God is behind it, no man can stop it. As Gamaliel said, those who fight against this Work will be fighting God Himself. (pp. 144-145, Malachi’s Message)

Who do you think is Mr. Alex Harrison picking a fight with? His effort will just be in vain, for this is not a work of a man – this is THE WORK OF THE LIVING GOD! How do you think will this BATTLE conclude?

“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord‘s.” (Obadiah 1:21)

It is prophesied that this little group behind the Book of Remembrance will work in Mount Zion in Jerusalem. And once this STRANGE WORK has started treading Jerusalem (Revelation 11:2), it will be a huge SIGN of judgment against the Edomites inside the PCG that their work in Edstone is a mere work of men – the work of the 25 men of Ezekiel 8 who turned their backs on God. These are the MEN OF SIGN that the prophet Jonah gives us today according to Mr. Gerald Flurry:

Now let me show you the example of how this Church is a SIGN of Christ’s Second Coming; Christ tells you that. Zechariah 3 and verse 7, “Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.” So the “charge” means that He gave them this truth, as He gave it to Jonah, and they were to guard it. God gave them the truth, and then they were to guard it and deliver that message.

But notice what it says in verse 8, “Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows,” this is an end-time message, “thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.” Wow! That’s Jesus Christ! In the context of these men rebelling against Him, He says, “I’m going to bring forth Jesus Christ, right on the heels of that!”

The Soncino Commentary puts it this way: “For they are men that are a sign.” And one commentary says it could read: “A WONDROUS sign.” Of course, it’s a WONDROUS sign! It’s about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. When you see this rebellion in this end time in God’s own Church, it’s a SIGN! A SIGN that Jesus Christ is going to return right on the heels of that! It’s the last rebellion against God by His Church, and it is a wondrous SIGN! It’s the SIGN that Jonah gives us of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and He tells us what events to look to, to count right down to that Second Coming. (Excerpt from Key of David: “Jonah – A Sign of When Christ Comes Again“)

Now, take a careful notice of the time setting where Obadiah’s prophecy shall lead to:

“For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.” (verse 15)

The work in Mount Zion will lead to the DAY OF THE LORD!

“Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord‘s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.” (Zephaniah 1:7-8)

God is now preparing His sacrifice during the Day of the Lord. Are you one of them?

“I will stretch out My hand against Judah, And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. I will cut off every trace of Baal from this placeThe names of the idolatrous priests with the pagan priests— Those who worship the host of heaven on the housetops; Those who worship and swear oaths by the LordBut who also swear by Milcom; Those who have turned back from following the LordAnd have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.” (vv. 4-6, NKJV)

Notice here that God “will cut off every trace of Baal from this place” – He will NOT allow any association or intermingling with PAGANISM inside His own Church. He does not want  Irish danceMother’s Day, and specifically, He does NOT want CREMATION – it did not even come into His mind to approve such an abominable pagan custom. The devastating earthquake that happened to Nepal is a very strong warning to ministers and members of the Philadelphia Church of God who associate themselves to Baal. If they choose NOT to repent, God shall wound them in head, all of them. Now where do you stand?

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

  1. There’s no more healing in the Philadelphia Church of God. Many are still sick, bed-ridden and on wheel chair despite anointing. Don’t they realize what’s going on

  2. Just as the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 2011 was a RED LIGHT warning to the PCG, so is the earthquake in Nepal.
Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, God’s End-time Elijah, condemned the practice of cremation. “Is the Practice of Cremation Wrong?” by HWA.http://www.hwalibrary.com/cgi-bin/get/hwa.cgi?action=getseriesltrs&InfoID=1410361064&SearchWhat=KeyWord&SearchFor=cremation&NoACollege=&NoBooks=&NoMags=&NoSermon=&NoBStudy=&NoBooklets=&NoRadio=&NoSpecTopics=&NoStudyTools=&NoStudyAV=&NoCoworker=&NoSeriesLtrs=&NoRef=&NoTelecast=&NoWWNews=&NoYouth=&page=&return=search

A young member of PCG named Roderick Ranises betrayed his father who believed in HWA’s judgment on cremation. He told a PCG minister Kirk Macdonald about this which led to the disfellowshipment of his father. Yet this minister and Benedict Marquez cannot even refute that cremation is PAGAN nor uphold the judgment of God’s end-time Elijah and His SIGNET. They are men who tell lies again and again till it becomes truth to the minds of the members of PCG.
